1st Place - Dan Linden (FW graduate student)

Dan Linden with a female spotted owl measured and fitted with a backpack radio transmitter for a study in northern California on barred owl and spotted owl interactions.

2nd Place - Patricia Thompson (FW undergraduate student)

Fisheries and Wildlife club assisting the MDNR with duck banding. Students helped untangle ducks from a net and determined species, age (juvenile vs. adult) and sex of individual ducks that were banded.
